Rolex Explorer II (White Dial) — Reference 226570 — NEW / UNUSED
This draw features the current generation Rolex Explorer II, reference 226570, with the white “Polar” dial.
It comes in a 42 mm Oyster case crafted from Oystersteel, with Rolex’s monobloc middle case construction and a screw down case back and Twinlock winding crown.
The fixed 24 hour graduated bezel is designed for true GMT tracking and exploration timing. A scratch resistant sapphire crystal with Cyclops lens provides clear visibility of the date. Water resistance is rated to 100 metres (330 feet).
Inside is the Manufacture Rolex Calibre 3285. This is a self winding mechanical movement with approximately 70 hours of power reserve. Precision is certified at -2/+2 seconds per day after casing. The movement supports centre hour, minute, and seconds hands, a 24 hour display, an independently adjustable hour hand for a second time zone, instantaneous date change, and stop seconds for precise time setting. The oscillator uses a paramagnetic blue Parachrom hairspring and high performance Paraflex shock absorbers.
The watch is fitted with the solid link Oyster bracelet in Oystersteel, secured by the folding Oysterlock safety clasp and the Easylink 5 mm comfort extension link.
The white dial features the Chromalight display for long lasting blue luminescence and excellent readability in low light conditions.
