Rolex Submariner Date "Bluesy"

Jamie Dolan
United States
Jamie Dolan is married, has a son, and enjoys golf and fishing outside of work.
When it comes to watches, Jamie is still relatively new to the hobby.
“I just recently kind of got into watches.”
He says he has always been the type of person who wanted a watch on his wrist, but only started getting more seriously interested in them a few months ago.
“I’ve always been the type of guy that always wanted to have a watch on my wrist.”
His first recent watch purchase came from a company called Guild.
As Jamie started spending more time looking at watches online, Wolf Watch Club eventually appeared on his Instagram.
“Started looking at watches and next thing I know I was purchasing raffles.”
One of the things that immediately stood out to Jamie was the live draw format.
“I like how y’all do the live draws on YouTube and makes it seem more, I guess, legit.”
By the time he entered the draw that would change everything, Jamie had only participated in around four Wolf Watch Club competitions.
He had watched three of the four live.
“I always try to get on there.”
On Sunday, Jamie was watching when his name appeared.
“I’m not like one of these lucky guys that usually wins things.”
So when he saw his name, his first instinct was to make sure it was real.
“I screenshot on my phone because I was just like I wanted to make sure it wasn’t a fluke.”
Then the host asked if he was in the chat.
Jamie was.
A few moments later, he was getting a live phone call.
“My hands were like shaking. I had this big adrenaline rush.”
After the draw, Jamie shared the news with a close friend from work.
His friend had a hard time believing it.
“He thought it was AI. He was like, ‘No way this is real.’”
Jamie sent him the YouTube livestream so he could hear the call for himself.
“I was like, ‘It’s real.’”
Jamie also shared the news with his brother.
But there is one person he has intentionally not told yet.
His son.
“I haven’t told my son yet. I want him to see it first and then see his reaction.”
Jamie says there is a good chance the watch may eventually be passed down to him.
“It’s something that you can give to pass it down to other generations and they could wear daily.”
Before finding Wolf Watch Club, Jamie had tried raffles with other companies.
But he says he prefers the way WWC is structured.
“I think how y’all have it set up is like, I like it the best.”
A big part of that comes back to the livestream.
“I really like the YouTube stream.”
He enjoys the way the host interacts with the chat and how the draw itself happens live.
“Time Teller does a great job. Just how he presents things, keeps the interacts really well with the chat.”
Jamie also likes the points system.
“I actually was able to use some of my points to get a little bit of money off.”
For Jamie, the livestream and the overall presentation also helped answer the biggest question new players often have.
Is this real?
“The whole production seemed really well done and orchestrated.”
He said that if someone were simply trying to scam people, he did not think they would put that much effort into showing the process publicly.
Jamie also found the website straightforward.
“Y’all’s website, like I said, it was user friendly and it gave all the details.”
And after winning, Jamie does not plan to stop entering.
“I don’t do sports betting.”
For him, it comes down to the chance to win a watch he really likes for an amount he is comfortable spending.
For the winning draw, Jamie said he had five tickets and, after using Wolf Points, spent about $66.
“$66 chance to win an awesome watch.”
The watch itself was also a bit of a surprise.
Jamie says he is usually not much of a gold guy, but the Rolex Bluesy changed his mind.
The combination of the blue and gold stood out to him immediately.
And there are still more watches he would like to see in the future, including the Rolex Bruce Wayne and Pepsi.
For someone who only started getting seriously interested in watches a few months ago, Jamie’s collection now has a very different starting point.
A Rolex Bluesy, won live, with five tickets, and one story he is still waiting to tell his son.
