Longines Legend

Steven Tamesis lives in New York City and works as a surgeon.

He has loved watches since he was a young boy.

“My dad gave me his Omega that his dad gave him. An Omega Dynamic from the 1970s.”

That watch sparked the passion, and while he already has a few Omegas, this win marks his first Longines.

Steven is a esophageal and gastric surgeon and has been practicing for three years since finishing training in 2022. “We don’t get to wear watches into the operating room. It’s pretty busy, and if I am on call it can be quite tiring.”

He first came across Wolf Watch Club through Jory Goodman, the Time Teller on YouTube.

“He was talking about the Omega Seamaster. I bought entries for the Seamaster, one for the Explorer, an entry for the Starbucks, and three entries for the Longines yesterday.”

Trust mattered to him. “I looked at the competition certificates. I trust TTT’s recommendations. Twenty-nine dollars, whatever, it will be okay. I was actually cooking dinner when I bought.”

Steven says it didn’t feel like a big risk.

“When I look at this thing it did not seem like a lot of money and you can win something precious, something expensive. I invest in retirement plans and stuff like that.”

Other hobbies have taken a back seat to his 22-month-old son. “One hundred percent he is getting the Omega Dynamic. It will stay in the family forever. Any watch with a special story.”

He sees Wolf Watch Club as something special.

“This is a great opportunity for anyone who loves watches.”
